Lucid seeks a highly motivated Outbound Business Development Representative with prior sales experience to join our world class team. This is a unique opportunity to experience a startup culture within an innovative SaaS cleantech growth company.

Working from Lucid's Oakland HQ, the Business Development Representative will need to be a self-starter, ambitious, team-oriented, and committed to becoming an expert on Lucid's software, surpassing Lucid's inside sales goals and driving change through the democratization of energy management.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Clearly convey the value proposition of Lucid's technology to diverse audience of stakeholders
  • Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals and quota attainment
  • Provide feedback to the marketing team to optimize sales campaigns

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of B.A. or B.S. undergraduate degree required
  • At least 1 year of proven track record in sales or business development
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
  • Energy management industry and technology knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience with
  • Experience initiating new business relationships through cold calling
  • Strong interest in behavioral and operational energy savings
  • Knowledge of Healthcare, Technology, Real Estate and/or Education markets
