Product Marketing Manager

Position

Lucid is looking for a strategic marketer and storyteller to help drive adoption of Lucid’s unique cloud-based building management solutions. This role reports to the VP of Marketing and is responsible for the go-to-market strategy and execution, as well as ongoing product success. Key responsibilities include developing compelling product positioning, go to market strategy and execution, sales enablement strategies, and industry thought leadership.

The ideal candidate understands the needs of building managers, is passionate about being the €˜voice of the customer,€ and is steeped in leading-edge building and energy management technologies. This is a chance to lead a transformation in how building operators leverage connected buildings for better and more efficient building management.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the expert on your buyers, how they buy, and their buying criteria; glean deep customer insights that lead to better offering for your products; be the expert on your competition and how to crush them
  • Define and own GTM activities around product releases and launches
  • Distill key functionality and benefits into product positioning, messaging frameworks and outbound sales and marketing materials
  • Drive definition of value propositions and developing effective stories to drive impactful sales enablement, including pitch decks, white papers, case studies, sales sheets, videos and more
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with company executives, engineering, product management and sales teams on product and marketing strategy and execution
  • Initiate and gather research for market insights and competitive analyses
  • Own pricing and packaging
  • Be the internal voice of the customer by developing deep insights about customers, global markets, and competitors
  • Develop thought leadership content to support communications and positioning goals: blog posts, white papers, contributed articles; speaking engagements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’€™s degree required
  • 3-5 years’ experience with at least 2 years in a product marketing role
  • Understanding of building and energy management technology
  • Proven ability in developing effective, impactful market-facing materials
  • Demonstrated success working with cross-functional projects
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills - ability to translate complex technologies and methodologies into digestible, benefits-focused pieces
  • Strong project management skills, well-organized and strong attention to detail
