Job Description

Seeking a world-class Pre-Sales Professional to position and effectively demonstrate Lucid’s software & services solution to C-level executives in the real estate industry, corporations, and educational institutions. This individual must be a motivated, goal-driven, team player who is well organized, a self-starter and can work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing subject matter expertise in a pre-sales capacity for prospects, partners, and strategic alliances on Lucid’s BuildingOS solution
  • Participate in sales calls and meetings with Sales Executives and prospects
  • Translate technical information between internal stakeholders (e.g. sales team, product & engineering teams, etc), and external prospects & customers
  • Interact with product development and marketing to provide prospect and customer feedback as well as product issues, field implementations, and observed market trends
  • Take leadership role in trade organizations, focus groups, and product direction
  • Work with the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure field readiness
  • Complete RFPs and RFIs as required
  • This position requires 50% domestic US travel. Some international travel is possible

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Working knowledge of SaaS (Software as a Service)/cloud-based software architecture, data integration & security requirements
  • 2+ years experience in software sales, energy and/or environmental industry related field
  • Certified Energy Management desired but not required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Environmental Science, Engineering, or other related field
  • Strong communication and networking skills in a virtualized sales organization
